Pop’s hat

“My grandad, or Pop as we called him, was an amazing man!

For me, he was my father figure to love and respect. After working with his cattle and crops all day, he would throw his well worn hat on the bed and let my sister and I stick our hands into his pockets, frantically hunting for the peppermint treats we knew he always had for us!

Many evenings while grandma stitched away at her handwork and they both sat eating lol aches with a cup of steaming hot coffee, I would parade around the house in that awesome hat!

This hat is much more than a hat! It is a hat full of precious memories and love. It is a hat full of kindness, respect, love, and comfort. I pray you will wear it with pride and create your own memories that will last forever.”
